Professor Amy Sage Webb from Emporia State University is definitely one of my mentors. I think it's impossible to be in her presence and not become inspired. She has done so much for the women who have been fortunate enough to be her students. I was so excited to read this morning that a volume of her short stories had been published on November 1st.
It was a nice change of pace from the bipolar reactions from my fellow American citizens regarding the election, to be honest. I'd think everyone would want to breathe and surround themselves with nicer thoughts now that the decisions have been made. But, undoubtedly, the bashing will continue for some time yet until people decide that it's better to have more friends than it is enemies. Or so I would assume.
But if you want to lose yourself in some great writing, instead, I highly recommend taking a peek at Save Your Own Life.
Now, I'm back to my own writing. 12,350 words and counting on Huntress.
