The 30 Days of World Building by Stephanie Cottrell Bryant is a good world building exercise primarily for fantasy and science fiction writers, but it works well even if you are setting in a realistic or modern world if you are creative enough with it. This is what I intend to blog for this month prior to Camp NaNoWriMo in July.
